Calendars
Containing Local Calgary & Alberta History
For this year, Frances has produced historic calendars of both
Alberta (Commemorative calendar for our 2005 Alberta Centennial)
and for Calgary in a size intended to make mailing cheaper, that
is they will be 10 x 13 inches. The calendars contain old
and new comparative photographs and are complemented by informal
stories that describe life in Alberta and Calgary through the late
1800's and especially the last century.

How

Personal:
» These calendars are wonderful
gifts or stocking stuffers to give to family and friends and have
been published in a size (10 x 13), which will make them cheaper
for mailing.
Business:
» For next year, it would be simple
to put a company's logo on the back of the calendar to remind your
customers of your product or service.
» It makes a great gift for partners
in your industry and is easy to mail.
» It is a constant reminder of
your corporation's services through the year, as your customers
will read about Calgary or Alberta and see local images regularly

How
These Calendars Came About
Frances has been interested in photography and the history of Calgary
for many years, taking photos throughout her travel and hiking experiences.
Frances has spent most of her life living in Alberta, except for
periods living overseas. Her motivation for producing historic calendars
of Alberta and the Calgary area arose out of her need to find something
that described Calgary and Alberta in more detail. Frances had been
looking for something to send to her family in Britain and felt
she could create something that would fill that niche.
